East Kendall
Located west of Dixie Highway, East Kendall is a comfortable suburb with hotels, shopping, dining and entertainment. One of its landmarks is Dadeland Mall, a popular suburban shopping mall. The East Kendall area offers golf courses, parks and other recreational venues. East Kendall favorites include Galloway Nursery and a favorite specialty market, Norman Brothers Produce that offers a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and prepared meals.
At a more affordable price point, East Kendall is a great option for a suburban neighborhood while still offering access to all the amenities Miami has to offer.
There is a Metrorail stop at Dadeland Station with easy access to Dadeland Mall. Metro service offers convenient access to nearby commercial centers like Coral Gables, Downtown Miami and Miami International Airport. Florida International University and Miami-Dade College are in the immediate Kendall area. Baptist Hospital’s main campus and surrounding outpatient clinics are located in East Kendall.
